I was looking this recent purchase over.
It may have a misplaced digit in the denticles, but I was curious about the ring underneath the 4th Pearl.
I was trying to attribute it through Snow's book, but unable to.

I can definitely see something in the denticles. I am not sure about this one though lest wait for the pros to chime in.

I do believe you have an MPD and its not one I can find in Snow's latest attribution guide. Might be worth sending it to Snow. Under the pearl may be just a die chip? Anyway, that is one beautiful IHC.

It very well could be a die chip. I just think it's a strange shape, and I would have thought it would have gone all the way up into the pearl. Thanks. Yeah I have the 2 book set and the latest. I couldn't find it in there either. I may send it in.

What a lovely IHC.

To my mind the line in the denticles is too well-defined to be a MPD. It's too obviously a thin line. Simplest explanation is a couple hairs of wire or something struck into the die, which would explain the line under the pearl as well. That denticle spot is high and exposed on the die.

Thanks dave. I thought it would look good in my book.

I didn't think about a wire or something along those lines getting struck into the die. I had thought at first maybe a gouge, but figured it would have affected some of the other denticles as well. I had then assumed it was a misplaced digit, because they seem to be very common in the series.
