Fully concur with the 'surprise' of PCGS MS63.

With the coin in hand, I was quite confident of a mid-VF grade. I have no clue what the wizards were thinking back in the day when they judged this one.

It is a great conversation piece. Well obtained HONDO.

In the early days of my lowball commem set I had purchased an XF45 Maryland in an SEGS holder. I cracked it out and sent it in to PCGS and in came back in a MS62 holder. Not what I was looking for.

There is no way that Hondo's GWC should be in a MS63 holder. I guess that the person that graded it also graded the King of Siam set that keeps getting better grades over time. :)

Incredible. When I first saw it I was thinking a solid VF25.
