Looks like you couldn't get a better buy for your money. I guess the concept is that you view what's under the scope on the screen and then just decide whether you want to save the image or not to your computer? No camera needed? When I first learned about this microscope most people had the QX3. Then I learned the newest QX5 was fairly new on the market so I went on a search. Found it in a J and R's retail store in my area and they were selling for $49.99 at the time. I was prepared to pay more if it was priced more then the selling price in the store. I REALLY wanted this so the price was not important. Had no idea it would go up in price as much it is now.
