That close up would make a very good definative
as to attribution of the large date.
Who makes that camera ? any special lense added ?

I've read so much about the QX5 here on the forum. I think maybe it's time I tried it. Looks like you couldn't get a better buy for your money.

I guess the concept is that you view what's under the scope on the screen and then just decide whether you want to save the image or not to your computer? No camera needed?

Does it have its own light source or do you have to supplement it with your own? Thanks.

USB connection. No camera. Oh and yes it has it's own light source.

When I first learned about this microscope most people had the QX3. Then I learned the newest QX5 was fairly new on the market so I went on a search.

Found it in a J and R's retail store in my area and they were selling for $49.99 at the time. I was prepared to pay more if it was priced more then the selling price in the store. I REALLY wanted this so the price was not important.

Had no idea it would go up in price as much it is now.
I'm glad I bought it at that time.
