Hello!

I've found this 1994D nickel with what I thought was a die chip. MAYBE I'm reaching here, but whenever I look at it closer I keep seeing a D as if it was an extra mintmark. It even appears to have a serif. I asked myself how a die would chip leaving a circle like shape in the middle of the whole; I would think the whole piece would break leaving a dot on the coin instead?

Let me know what you think

Definitely not a missed punched mm because stopped that in 1990. I mean, yeah, looks like a die chip.
