Hello, my friend found a coin today and we are not sure which coin it exactly is.
So we are trying to figure it out and would like your help.
We think it might by one of the 936 to 940 Lot Bolivian coins.

I am the farthest from an expert on these things as you could get, I believe yours is a gold cob replica though, sorry.

I am likewise not an expert on cobs, but based on general experience with coins I agree this looks like a replica.

Yea I think so too, I just checked the Letters on the coin, they do not match any of the 936 to 940 but they match the gold cob replicas ones. Thank you guys!

I see a copy of a gold coin but not made of gold unfortunately. The design resembles a Philip V eight escudo of Lima Peru, with the date of 1708 and assayer "H" but this is a modern copy for outfitting make-believe pirates. It might make a good impression if you buried it in the sand and let a youngster dig for it, and find it.
