Great coin. I'm pretty sure that this is die variety N-33 which is an R.2 (common). As far as grade it's a solid F-15 but it borderlines on VF-20. The TGPs would probably slab it at VF-20.
As far as the pics, they're very good but it would be best to use a solid background. I use a tan colored background because it works well with copper and silver coins as well.
