It was on a newspaper that they're releasing uncut sheets of $2 bills. I've never collected notes and would like your advice on it. Are they worth buying? What should I look for on these notes?

I know nothing as to value of notes. However I do have some uncut $2 bills, and three notes ($1, $5, $10) dating back to the early 1900's.
I have them displayed in a picture frame, and enjoy looking at them.
Bottom line, for me at least, is I buy a few to enjoy, and don't worry any about the value.

The best way to buy uncut sheets is directly from the BEP people at their display tables at ANA sponsored coin shows. They always start out the show with plenty on hand..so get there the first day..The next ANA sponsored show is in Las Vegas near the end of this month. Jerry

What's special about the $2 Red seal notes?

The "Red" seal in and of itself is not special. On small size notes they ran from 1928-1963. The early 1928 Star Notes command a serious premium, but overall it is just a color used by the Treasury.
