I was browsing ebay and found this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/2007-P-JAMES-MA...NC_W0QQitemZ190175218351QQihZ009QQcategoryZ524QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Would missing clad layers cause a 2 gram weight difference as the seller states? Or is this some kind of other error. To me is appears to have been struck through something on both sides of the coin and then something else is causing the coloring. Ideas?

Looks post mint to me as well but there are 11 guys on ebay willing to stake 130.00 to say they have one lol. looks like it has been in a vice too and the reverse sat in copper cleaner or something. it is not graded and seller states that there is no refund for any reason. that's a huge red flag for me.

It looks real. The weak strike on the obverse is one of the keys. The planchet was damaged before the strike.

I don't know if it's an error or damaged after the fact but it's one ugly coin. I can't imagine somebody would be willing to give $1 for it much less $611.27 + $10 shipping....
