What kind o doubling is that on the mint mark?

You can edit the topic title. And because they stopped punching the mm in 1990, you should see the "doubling" on all of the other devices.Looks like MD.

You will see a lot of those on that particular year for some reason, on the letters - front and back also. It's Strike Doubling. After 1989, the mm's were added to the die.( no more rpm's). I seem to have read somewhere that the mm is the last device to disengage from the die during the strike, so often the mm will exhibit this phenomenon when the rest of the coin does not.
