I know filled MMs are very common, but this one also has some junk around it. Possibly repunched ? Note the heavey die file lines coming off Rosies neck. Maybe just remains of clash that was not cleaned up ?

Just some odd stuff for now. QX5 is great for close ups, not for whole larger coins. When camera setup arrives, Morgans will start popping up.

Cant be repunched . The mintmarks are a part of the die and have been for awhile. Somebody can correct me as to the year but I think they stopped punching them by hand in around 1994. Anyway, They are part of the design now and since they cant be added cannot be repunched.

What you are seeing are a few die chips around the mintmark.

Thanks,
Bill
