I've seen a couple of lincoln cents....1930-40 era, that, is colored more of a yellowy shade...its not brown, but more if the "red" has changed to a
shiney yellowy color --thoughts?......i think if a copper cent is heated it would take on a yellowy gold shade.......your input is greatly app

Some of the issues in the mid-1940's were brass rather than bronze (1944-1946 I think).
They are much more yellow than the bronze ones.
