We are going back to selling on the forum. I am not happy about it. The members wanted a system complete with feedback, so I spent a thousand dollars to have it coded from scratch. Now it's hardly used. Here's the forum. Here's the rules. They are not negotiable and will be very strictly enforced. The Staff will not be sending explanations of our actions if the reason is clear in the rules. Enjoy.

Thanks Bobby. I wonder why the system wasn't used more?

I'm not quite sure what happened, judging as I don't use the forum sell system at all. Please correct me if I'm wrong here. Quote: The members wanted a system complete with feedback, so I spent a thousand dollars to have it coded from scratch. Now it's hardly used. This was the old system that was kind of a like a mini-Ebay for CCF members only. It was a ghost town over there. Quote: We are going back to selling on the forum. Now we post and reply to topics that show coins for sale and prices? Or perhaps send a PM to the member that's selling the coin(s)?

Interesting. This is how they do it on the NGC money marketplace. Bobby, how exactly will the auction system work without an outlet to enter bids?

I presume you would post your bid by making a forum post in the thread on that item for sale.
Don't see how you would be able to enter a max bid, where you bid over the current and have a hidden further amount you are willing to automatically bid.

I was not aware of this - I am interested in seeing how it works.
How does feedback work? Maybe I missed it in the rules?

Now it's hardly used. This is sad news. I have purchased a number of items from the members with great results. Knowing this was a CCF member let me buy with confidence. After a short years of following the site it has gone done in coins for sale. Sad but, interesting. Why are there not many post for sales? Even the mods and known dealers are not posting? Is their a better venue? E-Bay? Yuck

This is why I asked about feedback: Quote: The members wanted a system complete with feedback, so I spent a thousand dollars to have it coded from scratch.

Will the pocket it now section still be active? Or are listings to just be placed in the Items for Sale section?

Huh? I could be wrong, but I think zxcccxz is referring to the bullet point in the Selling Rules that addresses listing formats. "Listing format must be clear. Auction, Pocket it Now, or Best Offer."

It's all done by replying to the topic. The other section is closed. No new listings may be created.

I haven't listed anything for quite some time. Actually, I have some slabs I could offer and may just do that later on. Noel
