My album and standard catalog of Canadian coins arrived today from Brent-Krueger.I must say I was a little disappointed in the nickel album , they left some dates out like the 1977 high and low they only have the one 1977 listed and there are a few more dates that have only one date. The quality of the album is no where like the Dansco I am used to, the one thing I do like is the pull out tabs to remove the coins. There are some empty tabs in the back of the book I guess I will put the dates they left out there. The price of the album and catalog where great however they charged me $5.00 because I did not order on line I ordered by phone and there was a $10.00 shipping charge.

Bruce.

Let me get this straight, they charged you $5.00 to take your phone order? If that's the case, I'd never buy from them again. That's about the most absurd thing I've ever heard.... Charging a customer to take their order.

That's outrageous! I recently placed an order with them via the internet. The shipping was quite high I thought for 10 air-tites.

Bruce, most of the Gardmasters don't account for some varieties, and depending on which source you go through, there are different numbers of varieties. The Gardmaster doesn't have the varieties for the 1977, 1996 near and far, and worse yet, it doesn't have the "P" and "no-P" varieties from the last few years, or even the crowned and uncrowned versions of 2003 (which makes for a total of four varieties!). I think a big part of it is that it depends on your source for which varieties you go for, and how many different ones. There are actualy 4 different varieites of the 1977 that I know of, for instance. (so far) There is also a new "bugtail" variety recently found. (2001, I think)
