Since I've gotten reactivated on the list a few days ago, I've noticed that I am receiving three (usually; sometimes only two) email notifications for each response to a topic for which I am subscribed. Each duplication is identical with the exact same time and other information.

Fred, somehow you were subscribed 3 times to "crossover collecting" and twice to "questions about grading".

I unsubscribed you to both of them, but it took them all out, so you will have to resubscribe to those 2 if you like.

Hmmmmmm. That might be my fault. At the bottom of a reply, I may have clicked the clickbox after the first one or two reply posts or reads on the same topic since I presumed that if it said, "subscribe to this topic", I was not yet subscribed.

Easily fixed and thanks, Bobbie!

Bobbie, now I'm confused again. How do we unsubscribe to a topic? I think it used to be that if we checked the clickbox to subscribe to a topic, the clickbox reverted to "unsubscribe to this topic" in the next viewing. Now the clickbox remains "subscribe to this topic" even if we are subscribed. This is where I doubly and triply subscribed before: I kept clicking the clickbox.

Or has it always been this way and I just didn't notice?

Fred

Fred, you can check all your current subscriptions by clicking the "My Subscriptions" link at the top of the page. You can also unsubscribe to anything on that page.

I don't think the clickbox ever changed. I think you're makin' that up.

I will check to see if there is a mod to fix that, however it would add some "weight" to the page since the software would then have to check to see if you're subscribed before it loads the page.
