Here is an interesting coin I found a while ago. It is a silver covered coating of some sort (Mercury?). Same coloring on the back. Any ideas from you all?
Well, here's a test: the boiling point of mercury is 674.11 °F. Under a candle flame, it should evaporate off. Course, I don't recommend doing that to coins you care about.
