Here's a section for those who are interested in the private pattern ECU's from Great Britain. If you are, then you are more than welcome to post here.I have got a private pattern 5 ECU dated 1992,which was designed by Raphael Macklouf, who designed the Queen's portrait that was used on British & British Commonwealth coinage between 1985 & 1998.It is inscribed 'UNITED KINGDOM' on the obverse.

Raphael Maklouf (no c), left the services of The Royal Mint, and formed a private company, "The Tower Mint, Ltd", which is responsible for the flood of commemorative coins from Gibralter. They also produce many of the medallions used in PNC covers released by Westminster Collections.

Which coins from Gibraltar is Maklouf responsible for? Which KM numbers? I thought that it was the Pobjoy Mint who
are striking the Gibraltarian coins.I know that the Pobjoy Mint is responsible for flooding the market with those Crown coins, especially the gold medal-coins denominated as 1/5 Crown.
