Been filling some holes and reorganizing. My quarter collection starts with the 1965 silver. Anyways I have decided to keep separate the Caribou's and the circulating commemoratives. The exception is the 1973 Mountie quarter since no Caribou was issued that year. Otherwise, coins like the poppy, veteran, breast cancer, Alberta, and Saskatchewan and ALL the others are kept separately. I had them all running together by dates but I thought keeping the Caribou's separate would be more aesthetically pleasing. How do you do it?

Great idea TheForce. I might just do the same with mine. The books look so confusing after 92' with all the varieties. And I do believe the eye appeal with be much better.

I have one of each quarter date from 1900 and a couple earlier ones. I keep them all in 2X2 holders in coin pages by date. Mine are all mixed together, proofs, specimens, colorized, modern silvers, commemoratives. I just find it easy to have them all in one place. The only ones I keep separate are the errors

I just have one binder for circulation and another for non-circulation organized by date for the former and series & date for the latter.

I don't have an actual album, so this album ersatz is how I put my circulated stuff in, one a type. The scanner doesn't scan this too well since it's wavy.

Unless it's an all-year changed design, or a large enough series (like the Olympic quarters) then I do this:

For some reason that I've forgotten by now, I started the previous page (the scan on top is page 2) with 1993.

I've done the same as TheForce, along with the '73 Mountie I also keep the '67 Bobcat in sequence for the same reason. Use to have the Caribous and Commemoratives all bunched up together but I think it looks better with them separated.

My binder is strictly circulation coins. Proofs, specimens etc. are still in their original packaging, If I ever do break them out they will go into their own binder or whatever.

I have one binder just for silver another for '68 and up. I keep the commemoratives like 1992 and millennium etc separate.

I also started keeping all the colourized together but then started adding anything that looked different so now its a real jumble but still it looks pretty good.....
