"genuine Smooth"?

Afab67 Valued Member United States 156 Posts	Posted 04/14/2015 3:32 pm I saw a Grant Commemorative for sale on ebay that had been graded "genuine smooth"? I have never seen that phrase before. Does anyone know what it means? Report this Post to the Staff

publius Pillar of the Community United States 807 Posts	Posted 04/14/2015 3:50 pm "Genuine" is normally a grader's term meaning "this is in such poor condition I'm not going to grade it, but it is what it appears to be". "Smooth" would mean "design quite worn away". Report this Post to the Staff
