An Edward VII shilling and old head Victoria 6 pence. Not bad for $.20 US each. The reverses are pretty well gone, and there are no dates. The gray is dirt, not lead.

Neat! I usually find silver coins in my LCS junk box too, and I buy them for their weight at approx $8.7 per kilo. It's awesome!

Just a way of buying scrap silver, in this case $4 worth for 40 cents.
I have heard of '20 for 20'; this is a case of '4 for 40'.

That was a really good buy! Sometimes in the UK I've bought pre-1964 dimes and quarters for a similar price from junk trays...
