Hello, ladies and gentlemen.

Now... If I was a regular, active member on this forum, I would absolutely hate me for doing this. Another bloke who thinks he's found a slightly irregular coin and probably thinks it's worth £1,000,000. Well, I'm sorry. Truly. But I was sent this picture today of a £2 which seems slightly off... The picture's a little blurry, but the best I can get for the moment.. It's the 2009 Darwin edition and the tiny dots that always surround the inner circle stop at around the bottom of the back of the queen's hairline (5 o clock in this picture) and also in line with the ridge of her nose (about 12 o clock). Anything of note? Interesting? Worth keeping?

£2-Irregularity

Thanks for your time, people.

I'd say this is a pretty common issue. I've seen loads of modern bi-metallic coins with slighty off-centered strikes so parts the inner part's design ends up on the outer piece.

Thanks for the response. I'm honestly a little surprised that you guys don't pretend to drop your glasses and tell people now and then that a totally worthless 50 pence piece is worth £10,000 and troll that person as a social experiment to see if the confidence in a seller affects the bidding of the buyers. Anyway, thanks a lot! I'm sure I'll be looking out for more coins and wasting everyone's time.

Also, if you're anything like me, you like to see when niche interests/hobbies/obsessions you have are brought up in popular culture. Well there's an episode of Better Call Saul (Netflix drama) which has a short segment about a scam that involves a coin which would probably be enjoyable to the contributors of this forum.

Have a nice day.

We don't need to create trolls, they find us by themselves...

Anyway, and stick around - you might have fun and will definitely learn stuff...

BTW, who is the funny looking lady on that coin... I swear I've seen that same nose on some guy on TV walking around in a skirt, but that was off in some place called Scotland. But he was with some OTHER broad. She was no prize package either.
