No need, perhaps. This is actually a very lovely piece also from the Showa Emperor's reign. 100 yen, minted in both 1957 and 1958. Years of reign 32 & 33. You should be able to determine this by looking on the side with the sunburst, instead of the Phoenix, to see either an equals sign = or three horizontal lines. Those represent the numerals 2 or 3, respectively. The + sign represents the number ten. So, if you get three bars + three bars, it'd be 1958. ;)
