I went back to the same school to look some more. Couldn't stay away. Did manage to look for about a hour and a half before the cold wet wind started blowing hard. I think I put a pretty good dent in it. Probably the last search till after the holidays.

Nice finds!

Do you think going to an very old grave yard is a little bit bad?

no one been interred there for about 100yr or more. It on a 3way stop the only folks that go there are the ones who hit the wall by way of a car crash
I have a detector as Xmas gift & its just about 2000yds from my home
I Check out our the c-card statement

Hey amac

Looking in graveyards just don't seem right to me. Don't want any spirits coming after me looking for their stuff back. Spooky stuff. Don't know if there are any laws involved, but I would hate to get popped for intent to grave rob or anything like that.

Forgot to mention I found a 1929 cent in the above picture.

I would feel weird walking around a grave yard with a shovel...Even if it a small one.

If you decide to go make sure to let us know if you find anything and you may start a new trend.

Just watch out for the brain eating zombies.

Try just outside any fences or gates. I hear theres an old custom to toss 13 cents on the ground outside graveyards to keep the spirits inside.

In another thread with a similar topic, I remember someone posting a reference to a state law (don't remember where the thread is or which state). I the guidance was a very good one.

No less than 100 ft. from any known grave site and no deeper than 6 inches.
