2008 $1 Coat of Arms Silver Proof

A powerful precious metal tribute to the centenary of the nation's original Coat of Arms, the RAM's new 2008 $1 Silver Proof is a coin of immensely broad appeal.

Bearing a design reminiscent of the motif found on all of Australia's silver currency struck from 1910 to 1936.

• 25mm diameter
• 11.66g
• .999 silver Proof coin
• Mintage of 12,500
• Set in an official case with a Certificate of Authenticity

Issued for the centenary of Australia's first national Coat of Arms, the RAM's 2008 C Mintmark $1 represents more than just an opportunity to pay homage to the pre-eminent symbol of the authority of Australia's Commonwealth Government.

Cool, the 'C' mintmark. It guess it won't be long and we will be able to get them in the 'B', 'S', 'A', 'M', 'P', 'T', 'G', 'E', 'TV', 'IOU', but probably not 'KISS'

Thanks rg for sharing.

I really like the design and significant history/representation of the 2008 $1 Coat of Arms Silver Proof. Was it release yet & how much does it cost? May be it's over my budget.... I hope you don't mind me asking.

Also, I already have the Luna Dragon Uncirculated $1 silver. I am thinking/planning of getting the rest of the series. What are the prices and availabilities? Who are selling them or are there some good seller in OZ?

Is it better for me to buy directly from the RAM and save on the GST?
