This is a coin that I had mistakenly placed in with my Trebonianus Gallus issues which look exactly the same !
Remembered only for being the first ( co ) emperor to die in battle along side his father Trajan Decius shortly after being elevated to co emperor, maybe this is why I had not heard of him.
Herennius Etruscus - early 251 - June 251, co - emperor.
Weight - 10.53g
Size - 30mm
I havnt found the exact PR number yet but PR 638 is close,

Nice coin. Too bad for the corrosion damage on the bust.

Your right Ski, without the damage it would be quite the find but then again I doubt I would have been able to own it if it was in mint condition.
