I know a bit about them. My Daughter bought one just like the one shown on the link provided by the previous poster. Other side of the medallion bears that name ERTE in large letters Hers is one of a set of two. Not sure what the other one is but I can ask her.

I saw these medallions on a Cruise Art Show
They are sold in a set of two the other one is a parrot.

The parrot medallions have been showing up on ebay, but the Mermaid on a seahorse appears to be rare.

Price offered for on board ship was $160 for the pair

$160 for the pair seems reasonable since the mermaid medallion as listed on the link provided is for sale for $325. Did you purchase the pair for $160 on the cruise?

I'll have to check on ebay as well as finding out what the other medallion is. I don't believe it's a parrot but I could be mistaken.
