Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I think it's very attractive.
I agree, I like it. Not really any more or less than the normal proof, but I still like it.

Well dang...not typically a mint buyer but thought the set was too neat to pass up. Not a good month I guess to get buried with family health issues. What are the odds that more are sold?

Briefly is putting it mildly.. the Mint blasted out an email a couple of days ago saying they were going to put some unknown number of sets on their site FOR HALF AN HOUR ONLY, that half an hour being 700am - 730am EASTERN TIME.

Anybody get the email this person was referring to?

Yes, though there were only 200 sets released, and they were sold out in literally a matter of seconds.

That just seems like a very odd thing for the Mint to do. I've never heard of anything like it before. I'm on their mailing lists and didn't receive an email - maybe it was a "remind me" email?

Yes, the original poster a few days ago stated he received a response to a remind me request...It was announced here but so far I haven't heard of anyone who actually got any sets

I just want a set to continue my silver Rosevelt dimes and modern commemorative dollars. On back order so I'm assuming I will get a set sometime.
