In my first post, over in the U.S. Classic Coins forum, I explained that I'm a non-coin collector who inherited a 1911 $5 Half Eagle gold coin from the Philadelphia mint. That thread is here:

http://www.coincommunity.com/forum/...6999#1896681

SsuperDdave judged it an AU58, based on the photos, and advised me to have it graded by a third-party grader. This is my only coin and I have no numismatic memberships, so I'm hoping to find a reputable Manhattan-based dealer who would allow me to piggyback onto his or her submission.

Can anyone personally recommend a Manhattan dealer who might be inclined to help me, for a reasonable fee?

I've been greeted warmly and helpfully on this forum, despite my lack of knowledge, and give continued thanks for the assistance.

Read his other thread, where I explained why what he did here was the smarter idea. This thread was my suggestion.
