I have noticed a number of markers on 1967 PL and SP as
well as MS strikes. The serifs on the obverse legends are
irregular. I have six 1967 dollars of different grades.
Three are graded by ICCS and three are not. Most show
doubling, they all exhibit a strange hitch in the end of
the L in ELIZABETH and the N in REGINA is noted to have a
wavy serif on the top right, and a thin left leg, as well
as a irregular serif on the bottom left of the N. Check
out the photos, they are pretty consistent across all
strikes. I have no access to a camera until tonight so
they will have to do for now.

So they have varying degrees of distortion, the doubling
is most pronounced on the PL dollars. The irregular
serifs are on most dollars, so I can't say if it is a
minor
DDO or not. Can anyone chime in on this, the
doubling on the L in the PL was identified previously as
Machine Doubling. Thanks in advance for any and all
comments. If all '67 dollars exhibit this, is it special?
