1965 5c Die Gouge Whisker + Tripled Die

Here is a neat minor variety that I guess you could call the "Extra Long Whisker". Very minor but what is interesting is that it is in such an early die state that you can see the Master Die Tripling that shows to a greater or lesser degree on all the 1965 nickels very clear.
Good example of a tripled die that anybody can find. Find a 1965 and you have one. I'd guess it is on all of them anyway.

That's cool. I have a '65 on my desk and, sure enough, I can see the tripling on the K. I hadn't noticed it before. I'll have to keep an eye out for the die gouge though.

Very beautiful Master Die Tripling, I just found one without die gouge but with a small Clash.
