1965 5c Die Gouge Whisker + Tripled Die

koinpro Pillar of the Community United States 1781 Posts	Posted 04/30/2015 01:02 am Here is a neat minor variety that I guess you could call the "Extra Long Whisker". Very minor but what is interesting is that it is in such an early die state that you can see the Master Die Tripling that shows to a greater or lesser degree on all the 1965 nickels very clear. Good example of a tripled die that anybody can find. Find a 1965 and you have one. I'd guess it is on all of them anyway. Report this Post to the Staff
