It'd be difficult for me to top my first Mother's Day gift to my Mom, as I was born on Mother's Day.

Both my wife and mother would be suspicious if I gave them coins for Mother's Day.

Because putting up with our coin fetishes the other 364 days of the year isn't enough

Why not just buy them a blender or a new vacuum cleaner if you want them to really hate you.

I bought my mother a plastic case, that I filled with a dollar, half-dollar, quarter, dime, nickel and penny from the year of her birth in uncirculated condition.

Canadians will be aware of Canadian Tire's brilliant marketing of late.
Mothers-Day-Numismatic-Items-?

There are some good ideas here, but if I got my wife a coin, Mother's Day wouldn't end well for me!

I bought my wife the official "William & Kate Royal Wedding £5" coin. She's not necisarilly into numismatics, but loves anything to do with English Monarchs.
