I am somewhat interested in the 10-coin series Exploring Canada. It is advertised as a subscription with ten coins each at $54.95. It looks like all the coins have been released. If I order this subscription, will they charge me for all ten coins and once and send them together?

No they will usually send them out 1 per month until the set is complete - It's a great looking set completed :)

So if I order it now and even if all the people who ordered it at the start have got their sets, they will still send one coin out a month? I might as well get it at Colonial or something for almost the same price.

Why not call the RCM and ask? It's likely they could accommodate whichever way you want to purchase the set - all at once or monthly.

Probably could but I'm overseas and the time zone is awkward. As well, I have a hard time maintaining a good connection online when calling Canada. Chinese internet is not the best.

Still not sure about this set or not. I discovered I am close to Master's Club and am contemplating getting something to top it off but this is a bit more than what I wanted to spend. I do like the astronaut coin though.

buy up some of the XX for XX coins, these are an easy way to get to MC standing, and they can always be sold back to a bank to get you money back.
Rest in Peace

The mint has been very accommodating lately. Often lately, the mint has been offering 'payment plans' for more expensive items. This might suit you better, and you will be able to decide how you wish to pay... all at once, one a month... or as you are over seas, it might make sense to have them ship multiples of your choosing 3 or 4 at a time, to save shipping charges, but get you over that MC status quicker.

The X for X idea is perfect. The only reason I am so close to MC is that I buy them all anyway, as well as this year I bought the nickel set. I get this stuff shipped to my sister's house in Canada so I never see it until the summer. It should not be hard to find a bank in the Lower Mainland who will take these. Thanks for the great idea.
