hello

whether it is a coin?
Metal is probably the bronze.

dimensions: 14mm X 12mm
weight: 2,0 gram

obverse is a woman's(?) head

revers- clean even concave

(coin from Poland)

any ideas? thank you in advance for your answer

I don't believe this is a coin but it could be an ancient or medieval artifact.

Welcome to the board, straczek1988.

The generic term for such objects is "applique." If you do a Google image search, for example, on the term "Roman applique," you'll see lots of various small, mostly bronze decorative pieces. These were attached to different objects - vessels and such - in ancient times.

I'm not saying yours is Roman - I simply don't know. It's more crude than most I've seen. But, personally, I do think it is probably ancient.

There is probably no way to know for certain, unfortunately. But, as I said, I think it looks legitimately ancient.
