Just incase you wanted it for your records your first coin is RIC VI London 6b (approx 300AD) and your second is most likely a RIC VI London 15, its neck is a little shorter than normal but I would say its a 15 rather than a 22.

Just checked my didn't win list and there it is !
Believe it or not I suspected you were on this one and I laid back.

I'm very glad you did, I often wonder when I'm bidding if I'm accidentally bidding up someone from the forum. Nothing worse than bidding up someone you know! As I said earlier it is my only coin of the year so far!

Yes some very nice tetrarchy Folli have been seen lately. I have bought around 10 I think.

This is very true, so many nice coins coming out of a few French dealers atm, I suspect a large collection has been sold off recently and much of it has filtered through to ebay. Lots of 'oddities' have also been turning up, the sorts of things a serious collector would pick up over a number of years and keep.

I've enjoyed checking them out but most of them have been selling for 'all their money' so I have not bid on many, if only I could win the lottery :)

I posted 5 awhile ago. One was a fantastic Constantius with a fabulous cuirassed bust. The first time I have broken the $50 mark for this type. The rest were around $35 ! That's what I paid back in the 80's !

FORTVNA REDUX !!!

I suspect a large collection indeed. And quite old too. One might even call the collection ancient ?
