Hi. I found this 1969 D cent while I was coin roll searching. I think that it is Machine Doubling. I tried comparing it to the other 1969D cents and it is definitely different. Any thoughts about it? Thanks.

Looks like Strike Doubling to me. Check it for missing designer initials.

Probably a pro will let you know for sure about the doubling, I just gave you my opinion. Some 69 D's are missing the initials, not this one.

This is Strike Doubling, aka, Machine, Mechanical Doubling.

I'm seeing a normal coin with a lot of glare and it being a VLDS.

Can you supply better images of LIBERTY? Straight on shots are better. There is chance that there is "Single Strike Flat Field Doubling" here. I doubt it but it's possible.
