Curious what this is.

It looks modern because of the stamping & doubt if it's gold...

Any ideas on what nationality it is or if it's worth anything?

It's a replica of a 19th century Ottoman Turkish gold coin. Such items were frequently made for use as jewellery, especially by poor folks who couldn't afford to use real gold coins. Do a forum search for "imitation Ottoman gold" and you'll find numerous pieces of this design, as well as other designs, some cruder copies than others.
