It's a great find. I have never found a Cud -- just a Rim Cud on a Bicentennial Half dollar. |

Love cuds-great find on a nickel...one nice '84 lincoln top hat Cud last year,can't wait for the next one to come along! |

Best place to check for now is in Sam Thruman & Arnold Margolis' The Cud Book. |

Nice find indeed! Cud are very difficult to come by in the Jefferson nickel series ... I have found a total of 3 in 327,200 coins searched. David |
