First, I would like to thank all veterans and current military for their service on this memorial day! With a nod to all pilots out their public, private or military. May st. Francis keep you all safe...

Now back to this coin/token, anyone ever see one? What it's made out of, etc... edge is smooth with no lettering

Looks maybe like a bronze, brass, pewter kind of something lol. I'm guessing clearly.

Not exactly ken. What I know is it was owned by a ww2 8th AF pilot turned vietnam airforce colonel. He was also part of a masonic type secret society for pilots called the quiet birdmen or "QB". My thoughts are maybe it was an inauguration piece for the shrine but if so those usually have a commencement date. When I get the urge I've been meaning to delve into it a little more
