1970 S Mint Mark Chipped? - Coin Community Forum

Aaron1978 Valued Member United States 148 Posts	Posted 05/27/2015 5:30 pm Hi. I was woundering if this is a chipped mint mark on my 1970 S penny. Or is it something that happened while it was getting put in rolls? On the reverse, I see a mark on the pillar next to Lincoln? Aaron1978 Valued Member United States 148 Posts	Posted 05/28/2015 12:44 am Really? We have all looked at coins to long, I am seriously trying to learn. I have over $25.00 of uncirculated 1970 S BU coins from the mint that got passed down to me from a safety deposit box. They are really tough for a beginer. So far this is the only one with what appears to be missing half the mint mark. Report this Post to the Staff
