The Royal Mint - For the last few months, thousands of people have been 'flocking' to London where a 'ewe-nique' art trail has been taking place to raise money for UK children's hospitals. 'Shaun in the City' is a public art trail organised by the creators of Shaun the Sheep and the Wallace & Gromit's Children's Foundation. A flock of 50 five-foot tall sculptures of 'Shaun the Sheep' are situated at landmarks across London and, like we did in 2013 for the Gromit Unleashed trail in Bristol, The Royal Mint has sponsored and designed its very own sculpture.

Created by one of The Royal Mint's own in-house design team, Stephen Taylor, Shaun-xiào was inspired by the ShaunXiao Collection and features elements of our Lunar Year of the Sheep UK coin design, including the Chinese symbol for 'Sheep', a large coin ruff around Shaun's neck, and red fleece to symbolise the gift envelopes which are exchanged at Lunar New Year.

You'll find Shaun-xiào in a rather fitting location, just outside the walls of the Tower of London - once our home for more than 500 years, until 1812.

As we won't be opening the doors to our new Visitor Centre until Spring 2016, why not visit the Tower of London? There you will find a permanent exhibition; 'Coins and Kings: The Royal Mint at the Tower' which explores the story of the Mint during its years there.

One lucky shepherd will also have the chance to win a Lunar Year of the Sheep Gold Coin worth more than £200.

But, without wanting to spark a 'gold rush', you'll have to be quick! Our competition ends at midnight on Monday, 25 May 2015.

To enter, just take a photo of yourself with 'Shaun-xiào' and tweet it to The Royal Mint @RoyalMintUK using the hashtag #ShaunXiao.
