I found an old book with Vietnamese coins inside, does anyone know anything about this country's coins? He was in Vietnam but some date earlier. Thanks. Jeff

It isn't as bad as I'd feared when I saw your original post. It has been fashionable in Southeast Asia for several decades now to sell sets of coins to tourists - all glued onto pieces of cardboard. At least the coins in this album are housed properly, in 2x2 coin holders. It's possible that whoever assembled this album bought one of those glued-up sets and pulled it apart straight away. If so, they're a hero - the coins in the sets that have stayed glued together for decades are now permanently ruined by the glue.

As far as I can tell the coins are, more or less, as they are described on the cards. I don't think there's anything particularly rare in the group; prices for them would range from a few cents to a few dollars each.
