Congratulations on picking one of the nicest sets to collect, a classic half....short lived though. Pictures a little dark so hard to see luster but I believe that there is. So that being said and with the scratches on the obverse and reverse and some tiny nicks on the obverse I would give it a MS63. That being said its a decent coin for your collection. Oh yes I seem to see some doubling of the date and the United States of America especially the the small a in America.

MS-63 nice coin Looks like Strike Doubling (AKA machine damage) on the reverse. No added premium for MD.

I'm seeing wear on the cheekbone, temple and forehead. It's a stunning coin otherwise, but I have to say AU-58.

Close up of the date, I think just reflections. Shiny coins are nice, but hard to photograph.

While I had it out to shoot the date, I examined the cheek/forehead area. I see no sign of wear. I am getting better pictures, but still working on the shiny stuff. They never quite look like they do in hand.

Ok, I'm sure I'm just seeing things then. If that is not wear, then it is definitely MS-63+

I don't see any wear on this coin. I was going to mention some doubling going on date and reverse. but that appears to be answered. I see plenty of mint luster ,I'm sure this half looks gorgeous in hand.
