Thinking of buying this at 2pm eastern time.

Here is the coin I am debating purchasing.

Greek-Tetradrachm-Price-3692?--Odd-Doubling;-Is-It-Fake?

The price is right.

Something about the doubling on the reverse that is scaring me.

Looks like it is Price 3692 to me.

Well I ended up getting outbid for it at the last second.

With the uncertainty it was probably best.

I think the coin was probably OK, but it was harshly over cleaned and it looks like it may have been tooled a bit.

Yea, when the most attractive feature of a coin is the price, you most often just need to pass.

I ended up bidding roughly $140 delivered US$, it ended up going way over my bid at the last second at roughly $175 delivered.

This would have been a coin bought for the purpose of an eventual resale as I already have one and while I would like a really nice one for the collection, this wasn't it. It was barely over $100 US$ though with 5 minutes left to go on ebay and that is what interested this bottom feeder in the first place.
