I Have this 1994 World Cup Proof Silver dollar and clad half dollar. I noticed they had these sort of green spots and thought it would probably decrease there value. I am going to sell the pair on ebay and just thought I could get your opinions on how much I should put them for.

Welcome to CCF!

I'm afraid neither of your coins is going to return much.

Pristine examples of the copper-nickel clad half dollar, in original government packaging, are selling on ebay for less than $10. An impaired coin in a generic cardboard holder will likely draw noticeably less. You might want to list it at $4.00 and see where the bidding takes it.

The dollar coin at least has the advantage of being 90% silver. At today's silver price, it has a melt value of just under $13.00. With the damage seen on your coin, it is likely it would sell for no more than melt value. It's a common coin that can be purchased in original packaging for less than $20. I would list it at $10 or $11 and see if it attracts any bids.

Just my thoughts, hopefully they were helpful!
