This seller from Greece is selling this 1859 Narrow 9 1C graded PCGS MS-64RB.

Is this a scam? The coin is also being auctioned at GC as we speak.

The seller has decided to white out the Cert number as well.

How do you know it's not the same seller? If it sells on ebay for $400 he can pull it from GC.

You can even scan the barcode on-screen if you have the app. It does look like an auction hedge, so selling chances are doubled.

That is what I was thinking to. Same seller just trying two different means of selling his coin. Doubles your chances of selling.

No different than me carrying stuff in my ebay store, to a coin show. I put a little sticker on the flip/slab, so I remember to remove it from my ebay store.

Oh yeah - I also took the liberty of editing the thread title... accusing someone of malicious behaviour without having the proof is not a good habit to have...

The ebay auction was terminated by the seller. I wonder why?
