Back when gas was .25 cents or so the gas stations chains had assorted give a ways. to build traffic. presidents, cars, and other assorted subjects. The ones that where game pieces generally were aluminum. If you filled the card with the complete set you set it in and got a bronze set. A lot of them were done by Franklin mint.

I've seen two gas stations in NJ that have signs that say. Pay for a gallon a gas with a 1964- quarter! How about that. I found that to be pretty funny.
