No, they are 8.33% Nickel, Balance Copper.

well...... there are silver ones they are the silver proofs S mint and I have found 3 state silver quarters in cirulation in the past couple of years but...not all S mint coins are silver.

I remember when the gold colored dollars first appeared, the rumor was they were the only US coin that was actually worth face value because of the Gold they contained. Some people will believe anything.

Just remember what to yotie said some proofs are silver I have the all the State Quarters and some not all yet of ATB in silver
