1976-D Roosevelt Dime Copper? Rust?

Tenhulz Valued Member United States 134 Posts	Posted 06/10/2015 5:00 pm I sure don't want to seem stupid, but can dimes rust? This dime appears to be copper, including edge. If this coin was buried, would it be rusty now? How can I remove the rust to see if it isn't all copper? There seems to be some corrosion on the coin as well. Advice?
