Royal Australian Mint - The CEO of the Royal Australian Mint (the Mint) Mr Ross MacDiarmid has been reappointed to his role for a further three years.

With the recent announcement that the Mint is no longer being considered for privatisation, Mr MacDiarmid is looking forward to leading the Mint into the future.

Mr MacDiarmid has been the CEO at the Mint since June 2010. Prior to this, Mr MacDiarmid worked in the manufacturing and marketing industry as well as has a background in tourism and business development. He is the former Chief Executive Officer of Dyesol Australia Pty Ltd, was previously the Chief Executive of Australian Capital Tourism Corporation and prior to that General Manager of Lockwood Australia Pty Ltd based in Melbourne.
Mr MacDiarmid has now been on the Mint Advisory Board for the past ten years.
