This guy is very clever selling German silver art bars http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-Troy-oz-G...em5404369c6a He's sold 198 of them and actually states the metal composition of German silver twice in his description very clearly so he is not trying to deceive anyone. They do look nice.

this is a tough one, the guy clearly states that it is not actual silver but it can still be very confusing to many buyers. I do not think that these so called bullion bars have any place in the market. Look at the price he is getting. It looks like there are a lot of people buying these thinking that they are getting an actual deal on real silver bullion.

Here is the link from Cleopatras boudoir on ebay that describes a great deal of the silver imposters (Brazilian Silver, German Silver, Alaska Silver....), I have seen some of them myself. Thank you to the author:

Education is the only way we can protect ourselves from getting burnt on these imposter metals, they have been around for very long time.
