What you have is likely a Civil War token. There are people in the Token, Medals and Exonumia forum that will be able to chime in with an attribution and information.

Just Had Someone Check It Out For Me. Its A R8 Rare Benjamin Herrick Civil War token. The Common Ones Are In Copper,And Very Few Made In Brass. Pretty Valuable In This Grade. Not A Bad Score For Me .Thanks For Your Help Guys, I Have A Few More I Will Post Today Hopefully I Can Get More Info On Them From You Guys .thanks

Good for you! Couldn't tell it was brass from the pic ... It's worth slabbing if brass. NGC is the one to use. Good luck!
As this is a very common merchant from a town with multiple merchants, an off-metal R-8 will not be worth as much as would be a scarce merchant or town. It would mostly be wanted by a NY collector who specializes in varieties; this, which much narrows the field of prospective buyers.

Reverse pic? An R-3 patriotic, it seems, nice shape, popular die, $40 or so as an AU, but more if it would slab higher.
